Exhibition of Rare and Endangered Plant Species holds in Xi'an
What’s the panda in plant kingdom? What’s the oldest plant in the world? If you want to increase the knowledge in identifying the rare and endangered plants around, welcome to visit the exhibition holding in Xi’an Botanical Garden.
As the natural environment gets deteriorative and ecosystem destruction causing by excessive pursuit of economic value still exist, nature-deficit disorder comes into our sight. Keep observing our living environment, what is happening here. You may be amazed to find that the ants have six feet! Professor Wang Ximin, Head of Environmental Education Team, Xishuangbanna Tropical Botanical Garden, CAS, said during the exhibition. He gave a great talk to the college students and parents and children.
Besides the talk, you could also see the Lodoicea maldivica from Seychelles, Amorphophallus titanium and very precious welwitschia, etc.
